Who We Are
Marine Tech, owned and operated by Jim Tiefel, has been providing complete yacht transport and inboard marine services from
the same location for over 18 years.  Prior to starting MarineTech, Jim worked for a local Sea Ray dealer.  During his time with
Sea Ray, Jim wore many different hats.  Jim did everything from routine maintenance to major repairs.  However, it was his
training and his ability to relate to customers that made him the ideal choice to serve as new boat delivery specialist.  In that role
Jim not only delivered new yachts to their proud new owners, but he also acquainted them with all aspects of their operation and

The Marine Tech commitment to every client is simple:  the professional, dependable, on time and, most importantly, safe
delivery of their boat.  To that end, we only use the latest equipment, specifically designed for the boating industry.  All of our
trucks and trailers are air-ride equipped to insure the smoothest ride possible.  Our late model Peterbilt trucks exceed all
emission standards and are fitted with horizontal exhaust systems to prevent dirty soot from settling in and on your boat during
transport. Our truck mounted, remote operated cranes aid in the painstaking task of disassembly and reassembly of fly bridges
and radar arches. This insures that you won't be relying on a sign company or crane truck (that might, for example, normally be
used to install rooftop air conditioners) to handle your much more sensitive cargo.  We make sure every job is more than
adequately insured, obtain all of the necessary permits and always use pilot cars, as required by law, to give you peace of mind
that your boat will arrive and launch as expected.

In simplest terms, we offer a one stop, turnkey solution to your boat transportation needs.  There's no need to contract with your
local marina to disassemble your boat (they will likely contract out the heavy stuff anyway), then a cargo transport company to
get your boat from point A to point B, then the destination marina to try and put it all back together.  We do it all.  If you should
have a question about the move, you won't have to try and figure out who did what and when, or deal with someone telling you
they didn't handle that part of the job.

All work and every aspect of your move is performed and handled by trained professionals with your satisfaction as priority one.
So, if you don't mind a general purpose cargo trucker hauling your boat, you have many choices.  If you want a professional boat
transporter, you have one choice: MarineTech!
